Studying hard

The year 2024 has started me beeing so busy studying that I have not had time to make a new blog post yet, sorry! I am studying to be a professional photographer in Sataedu, Nakkila, Finland. This is the last semester. I have passed already two big skill demonstrations and two are still to go. One of them is Art in Photography, and that is the subject I enjoy a lot.

I have had three art exhibitions of Norhern Lights in libraries around my home area, Satakunta. I plan to bring some of my aurora photos also to my shop, soon.

Also my band Starry Eyes has been practicing a new song of mine, called Lady Aurora. I was photograping at a swamp Isoneva, close to my hometown a year ago and it was such a wonderful, cold, clear night full of auroras. The song tells about the moments of waiting for the Norhern Lights to start and the great happines that follows when they do come and burst all over the sky. The corona formations were so beautifull angels, butterflies, birds etc in all colours.

The song will soon be performed at the firs time at the opening of my next exhibition at 14 th March 6 pm at Satakunnan Syöpäyhdistys, Yrjönkatu 2, 2 nd floor, Pori.

I took Interrail to travel to Rome trough Europe and the exhibition tells using photos, words and a video how a nature photographer meets a big city, all alone, for a month.

There will be also another exhibition “White Marbel and Green Spring in the Eternal City of Rome” starting 25 th March in library of Ulvila. The spring was lovely and green trees were full of green and yellow parrots and little wild flowers were growing everywhere.
